Academic Curriculum Section Team Leader

الوصف الوظيفي
• Establish the SPSP Curriculum Unit by bringing together the current ongoing curriculum development.
• Participate in the recruitment and/or selection of SMEs to staff the Unit on a full time or part-time basis.
•Provide review of current SPSP Academic curriculum and propose changes or development as required.
• Provide new curriculum for new programs/courses as new business comes into SPSP.
• Provide ongoing curriculum development services to SPSP Training Departments as and when required.

المهارات
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Design/ESOL, TEFL, or Applied Linguistics
Extensive experience in curriculum design and development within a vocational training / ESP context.
Experience in the development of training needs analysis.
Experience in the development and production of assessments.
Relevant experience in the design, delivery and assessment of English for Specific Purposes programs, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
Knowledge of current published Technical English texts relevant to the petroleum sector.
Knowledge and experience of Arab learners
Teaching/professional experience in the Gulf region would be a distinct advantage
Excellent IT skills, and ability to work to deadlines
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
Native English Speaker
