Basic Function
The Service Line Manager (Analytical Testing) would be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future for the service line. The incumbent would be well versed in all techno-commercial aspects of the Business, be a competent leader and be able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the Company’s vision and culture. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of Service Line and to drive sustainable development and long-term success
Key Accountabilities:
Define a strategic and operational plan for developing the Service Line in Saudi Arabia;
Deliver the P&L;and projects of the Analytical Testing Service Line in Saudi Arabia;
Ensure optimal deployment of resources;
Define and drive the quality assurance programs of the services and products delivered by the Analytical Testing Service Line in Saudi Arabia;
Drive professional and career development of staff within the Service Line;
Providing technical expertise during onsite customer visits, meetings and supporting training events and exhibitions as required;
Reviews all work to ensure performance, safety and statutory and regulatory compliance. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards;
Responsible for sales and marketing of Analytical Testing services;
Develop market segmentation based on primary research and analysis of market, customers, competitors, and FSL offerings;
Benchmark and share best practices across the Kingdom to ensure that FSL is current on all available resources, expertise and emerging trends in marketing and the market;
Assesses competence and delivers training to wider engineering team to ensure maximum awareness of core principles of calibration;
Support Service / Business Line Managers of other countries in the region as needed/requested;
· Support the (Regional) Tender Team, on strategic tenders.
المهارات
Qualifications / Skills / Experience required:
B.Sc. or higher education in Chemistry/Analytical/Chemistry, Science with sufficient associated experience;
Minimum 10+ years of practical experience in the analytical industry of which minimum 5+ years in a Managerial role;
Self-motivated, pro-active, committed and flexible with strong problem-solving skills;
Strong operational management and organisation skills;
Willing to travel extensively if necessary and work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment;
Excellent knowledge and understanding of ISO:9001 and ISO: 17025 Quality standards, ASTM and BS standards;
Should be well versed with APHA/AWWA and other technical standards;
Excellent verbal and written skills both internally and with clients (English is essential, other dialects may be advantageous);
Hands-on experience in chromatography (Gas, liquid, Solid), FTIR, XRF, ICP, wet chemistry etc.
