Qualifications HCIMA or Hotel Management Degree

Computer Literacy Speed typing is not required, however a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint is.

Driving Licence Clean national Driving Licence is required.

Experience The candidate should have a sound knowledge of catering, preferably in the industrial catering sector and, better still, in camp catering and support services.

The candidate may currently be in a Senior Sales position in a catering company and has operational experience or vice versa. The candidate will certainly be extremely sales-driven and results orientated.

The candidate will be able to verify his experience as outlined in the, “Job Description,” detailed in the Job Specification for this position.

Interview CVs of candidates meeting the profile for this position should be forwarded to Mujeeb Khan, following which a shortlist of interviewees will be prepared after which GM of Socat will conduct interviews.

Shortlisted candidates will, as part of the interview, be requested to make a 15 minute presentation on his understanding of developing and implementing a sales & marketing strategy relevant to catering and camp services.
