Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada’s expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology and Graphic Design. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.
Applications are invited for the position of Manager, Student Recruitment, Admissions & Services at Niagara College KSA, Al Majma’ah female campus. Reporting to the Campus Principal, the Manager is responsible for the overall functioning and performance of the department of Student Recruitment, Admissions & Services, providing day-to-day leadership and direction with respect to policies, practices, systems and operations. She contributes to the College’s mission and objectives by providing policy analysis and strategic advice to the senior managers and academic committees on admission, recruitment initiatives, student services/administration, arising issues and opportunities.
The incumbent will deliver a broad range of recruitment and admissions advisory services to prospective applicants, parents, high school counselors and teachers. The role acts as a key resource for influencers in local high school markets (i.e. teachers and administrators) and contributes to the development and execution of local promotion, marketing and student recruitment initiatives. Informed by best practices, current research, student data, program evaluation and student feedback, the Manager also leads the strategic development, delivery, communication and assessment of student life activities and initiatives for students as part of an overall strategy to promote student success, retention and a positive student experience. This includes the identification of barriers for students, and the collaborative development of initiatives to mitigate those barriers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Student Recruitment
Initiate, research, prepare and respond to requests for college and program information from the public and for developing responsive presentations for delivery at local high schools and other venues within the Riyadh and Eastern provinces
Coordinate off-campus recruitment activities for potential students such as organizing high school visitation schedules, recruitment presentations, mall promotion etc.
Research, develop, recommend and implement strategic marketing plans that will maximize the quality and quantity of qualified applicants
Participate in the development, planning and execution of various strategic marketing initiatives including the internet, social networking, e-mail, newsletters and brochures
Develop and maintain communication plan for prospective students from application to matriculation
Coordinate on-campus recruitment activities for potential students such as campus information sessions, campus tours, speaking engagements, demonstrations and other events
Direct and manage the workflow of applications through the review and selection process
Maintain relationships with prospective students and applicants throughout the recruitment lifecycle through SMS, email, phone and person-to-person communications
Plan and attend special events such as program information sessions, information days for high school administrators and teachers, College open houses and other community events
Admissions
Advise prospective students regarding potential career pathways, program availability, College and CoE admissions requirements and selection criteria
Assist the broader admissions team with organizing and preparing recruitment and admissions packages
Enter new and updating existing application data into the Colleges of Excellence Portal and the Student Information Systems Portal (SISP)
Evaluate individual applications and administering entrance interviews for program suitability and admissions into the College
Monitor and update individual application documentation checklists to ensure completeness of files or appropriate action for follow-up
Student Services
Plans, organizes, directs, and administers social activities and services that support students in assigned areas, and ensures that such activities and services remain within budgetary limits
Works with the faculty coordinators, managers and supervisors to ensure that applicable services and programs are planned, developed, regularly reviewed and updated, ensuring quality standards for program review
Provides College-wide leadership by, directing the departments’ work with faculty and staff colleagues, students and community partners in order to support, provide and/or facilitate activities that ensure that the College achieves its student leadership development, and engagement goals
Provides leadership, analysis and advice in relation to policies and procedures regarding students and services for students, including risk management
Addresses student complaints and conducts investigations as required
Required qualifications, at a minimum, include:
Three (3) years’ post-secondary diploma or degree in Education or a related discipline from a recognized university
At least three (3) years’ experience in post-secondary student services or education field, preferably with experience in admissions and/or student recruitment and services
Excellent public speaking and presentations skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; preference will be given to candidates who also posses excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic
