Strategy & Governance:
Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate prices, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
Researching available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
Assist the procurement team in the tendering process and reaching out to vendors requesting prices as per the Business Owner’s needs.

Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to identify and resolve problems on time
An analytical mind is able to “see” the complexities of procedures & regulations
Effective use of required technology
In-depth knowledge of Saudi’s standards and regulations
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping
Academic and Professional Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement best practices, and systems.
Minimum 3 years experience in a Vendor Management or related position
Preferably with experience in procurement in the construction industry.
