Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Position holder will be responsible for installation, set up, repair and on-going maintenance of vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment at customer accounts. Diagnoses equipment problems, uses judgment to determine how to best repair or replace. Position works independently and has frequent customer contact.
May require lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving between 20 and 45 pounds repeatedly over workday Requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending when making repairs, often in low places.
EDUCATIONAL & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
Must be University Graduate in Mechanical/Industrial engineering or Diploma.
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
Good communication skills in English (read, write and speak)
Computer literate preferred but not necessary
Must have Valid driving license & know the driving of Cars & Hilux
Experience:
Must be minimum 3 years’ experience in Beverage Manufacturing Industry or related fields.
Experienced in all aspects of planned and unplanned Maintenance activities and Preventive Maintenance Program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement required maintenance activities in accordance with the Daily / Weekly / Monthly preventive maintenance programs.
Work alone in the trade troubleshooting and performing repair work on soft drink dispensing equipment including vending machines, visi coolers and fountain equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair of fridge / Air conditioners.
Perform consistent, quality service throughout the assigned territory.
Delivering and installing soft drink dispensing equipment.
Using and maintaining trade tools and specialized testing equipment, re: Electrical meters and refrigeration diagnostic tools.
Completion of invoices, settlement sheets and related paperwork, through hand held computers and/or a manual paper process.
Perform a rotational emergency on call service evenings and weekends
Provide training and relevant directives to the working staff and develop their technical skills and performance.
Determine and order required spare parts and withdraw necessary spare parts from Plant Stores.
Working with basic refrigeration systems (e.g., understanding refrigeration cycle, Freon, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.
Working with electrical systems (e.g., understanding flow, wiring, outlets, etc.)
Prepare the daily report showing all maintenance activities and recommendations.
