الوصف الوظيفي Position : Strategic Project Manager Location : Doha, Qatar Reports to : Group CEO MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Our Clients ´s Board of Directors as well as its Supervisory Board have approved the establishment of our Clients with two main corporate purposes which are: • The implementation of a number of high-profile mobility projects to be rolled out in Qatar during the coming years in which a number of the Group´s brands and investors are involved and; • The development of synergies and a regional strategy between Our Clients Group Brands in the Middle East Region and the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with investors in Qatar. • Due to the high complexity of the projects to be implemented in Qatar during the coming years, the number of international and national stakeholders that shall participate in these projects as contractual parties and the responsibilities of the creation of synergies within the Middle East Region, a Strategic Project Manager is required to be full-time based in Doha, Qatar. • The Strategic Project Manager will assume all responsibilities for Financial Planning & Controlling, Imports & Customs and Procurement Management. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The primary objective of the Strategic Project Manager role is to be a liaison between HQ, regional entities and the Investors. This position will be responsible for · Managing major strategic projects requested from the Group Board · Monitor and manage strategic plans’ progress and execution, · Organize monthly & weekly meeting with SME (Subject matter experts) for progress tracking · Prepare comprehensive reports on strategic action improvement · Present and facilitate stakeholder meetings including executive Board Members · Manage highly specialized team members locally and monitor day-to-day activities of the project team to ensure work is progressing as planned. · Work with project team and be actively involved in all aspects of the work. · Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, budgets and allocation of available resources. · Defines the role and responsibilities of the project team members. · Reviews project materials with management/ stakeholders to drive consensus on goals, timelines, budgets, identifying and allotting resources to the projects. · Detects and resolves risks and issues through the duration of the project. · Facilitates implementation, status and milestone meetings with cross-functional groups. · Generates and distributes status reports catering to a wide variety of audiences (operational, management, executive board levels). · Captures key decisions, meeting notes/ minutes, and tracks action items. Regional Strategy · Planning and directing strategic and long-term organizational strategy · Support to set the overall strategic plan for the Middle East Region · Actively engage in a broad scope of strategic initiatives across various issues, events and moments · Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, and stakeholders · Assess market trends and competitor and identify threats and opportunities. · Lead efforts to analyse, evaluate and formulate recommendations and next steps on a wide variety of strategic initiatives. · Establish a business case/ financials associated with the initiative. COMMENTS The holder of the position is responsible for his/her own actions within the framework of the duties assigned to him/her. In fulfilling the requirements of the job description, he/she will also be expected to perform tasks which, due to their irregular occurrence, are not included in the job description but which by their nature are part of the job. He/she is entitled to request information about the tasks assigned to him/her from his/her superior.
