Operations Manager – Civil & Infra

A contracting company and deals majorly with Mega projects within Construction and Oil & Gas is looking for an Operations Manager Civil & Infra.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning

 Leading, coordinating and supervising the production in worksites. The objective is to reach the correct execution in adjudicated projects in different variables such as execution time, deadline and budget

 Supervising and validating the planning of the projects, developing the programs according to the contractual calendar.

 Ensure that the complete scope of work is specify in contract agreements with sub-

contractors and that responsibility of the sub-contractor detailed out in the agreements

 Conducts negotiations between company and sub-contractor

 Manage manpower requirements of various projects

 Approving projects variations and including them in Project deadlines.

 Presenting time extension, supervising the planning department and defining the timing accomplishment traced in project contract

 Prepare the hand over reports of the projects including economic, deadline and actual situation of each project

 Report variations in the Project execution

Budget Planning

 Managing projects cash flow in collaboration with financial direction of the company

 Establishing guidelines for each level and strategy for a correct financial management.

 Taking operative decisions to improve the Project cash flow.

 Establish guidelines with suppliers to improve the worksite management.

Execution and Monitoring

 Assuring the correct execution with according to the agreed time and budget.

 Supervising accidents data and planning preventive and corrective measures in coordination with the Corporate

QHSE Department.

 Supervising deviation measures of the workforces.

 Controlling Project execution at worksites.

 Identifying execution delays and establishing corrective measures.

 Managing and controlling reports correctly.

 Supervising the accomplishment of worksite certificates

Other Mandatory Requirements:

 Have a solid 15 years of experience (at least 5 years of experience in similar role) in huge volume projects

 Work experience in Civil & Infrastructure

 PMP Management system knowledge

Educational Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
