QA/QC Engineer for Electromechanical Construction Works

We are currently looking for project engineers to occupy a vacant positions within the Projects department to follow up under execution project in QATAR with the following duties , responsibilities and qualifications :

Understand the project requirements and objectives, and develop the project quality plans including but not limited to project quality assurance plan -QAP- and inspection and testing plan ITP.
Implement the QAP and ITP with all parties including the sub suppliers and subcontractors for manufacturing and installation site activities.
Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain the QA/QC files related to assignment.
Assist with tracking and logging Non-Conformance Reports, Quality/Productivity Improvement Reports.
Ensure that all works complied with client/contractor-issued drawings, applicable standards and specifications.
Ensure that all related inspection and testing activities in accordance to Environment, Health & Safety procedures and maintenance rules are respected.
Monitor the work performance to ensure the respect of work standards and project specifications.
Perform proactive surveillance inspection to minimize or avoid discrepancy and non-conformance rectification cost and time.
Coordinate and assist construction to resolve any encountered problems related to inspection and testing activities.
Initiate remedial or corrective action based on standard, code, and specification and verify the closure of NCR.
Ensure effective coordination with the client related to inspection, testing activities, and documentation.
المهارات
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering – mechanical , electrical or mechatronics - or related field

•+3years experience in quality assurance and quality control role for construction projects.

•Ability to develop project quality plans – PQP-, Method statement , Inspection Test Plan - ITP, Quality Assurance Plan - QAP

•Excellent computer skills .

•Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and engineering processes

•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

•Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

•Strong communication skills.

•Previous construction experience and preferably industrial projects .

•Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations .

•Ability to perform well under pressure .

•Preferable to have a residence and driving license in Qatar.
