External Audit Manager

We are currently looking for an Audit Managers to enhance our Audit team in Qatar.

A career in our Financial Services Audit practice, within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities.

Job role

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
Be involved in the financial management of clients
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
Train, coach, and supervise staff
Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.

المهارات
Requirements

Ability to provide advice and resolve internal and client issues.
Motivated and a team Leader
Thorough knowledge with regulatory requirements.
Ability to focus on client needs and respond to them.
Minimum of 7-10 years’ recent work experience as an auditor at an International Auditing Firm (Big 10) whilst demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualifications – ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA, CFA or other relevant certifications
Fluency in English and Arabic is a must. French is a plus
Extensive knowledge of IFRS standards, ISA standards, audit practices, procedures and reporting standards.
Proven experience on technical accounting and general business issues.
Industry knowledge and audit best practices to develop an audit strategy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
