Facilitating all Laboratory routine activities and workload in coordination with Laboratory Doctor by allocating resources where they are mostly needed.
In charge of organizing and carrying out variety of administrative work such as preparation of SOP’s, laboratory registers, staff assigned areas, Ministry of Public Health data submission related to Laboratory Compliance as per protocol such as laboratory test reports.
Perform complex chemical, biological, haematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests by examining samples and specimens to determine the morphology, cell count, presence of microorganisms and concentrations of chemical compounds including but not limited to electrolytes, proteins,
enzymes, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels for detection of disease process and/or abnormal cells.
Identify, examine, and analyze specimens for abnormal cells using laboratory equipment, computerized systems, software programs and using microscopic equipment, such as microscopes and cell counters to detect any abnormalities
Perform specimen collections such as phlebotomy, swabs as required as per laboratory standards, policies and procedures
