Emergency Medicine Physician

الوصف الوظيفي

1.  Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient’s recovery.

2.  Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.

3.  Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan.

4.  Develop effective patient care plans.

5.  Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.

6.  Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.

7.  Maintain the patient’s medical records.

8.  Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.

9.  Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases and injuries in emergency practice: Examines patients, using medical instruments and equipment.

10. Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.

11. Analyzes reports and findings of tests and of examination, and diagnoses condition.

12. Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs.

13. Performing Medical fitness test to work.

14. Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases.

15. Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.

16. Reports deaths, and outbreak of contagious diseases to MOPH or governmental authorities.

17. Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment.

18. Performs minor surgery.

19. Attending Emergency calls to patients unable to visit the clinic or injured employees at the accommodation.

20. Conduct resuscitation if needed until EMS arrive or further medical care
