Design Coordinator

الوصف الوظيفي
Ø Develop building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications;

Ø Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential implementation methods;

Ø Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists;

Ø Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction;

Ø Making sure the drawing production is running according to schedule and budget;

Ø Playing a part in the project and team management;

Ø Attending regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings.

Ø Monitor the preparation of shop drawings and making sure that deadlines are met as per applicable in-house quality standards;

Ø Monitor and Review sub-contractors’ submittals: materials, method statements, shop drawings, progress reports, execution plans, etc… Propose alternate solutions for ambiguous items without compromising the project change management protocols and quality;

Ø Analyze and generate RFI to the consultant to clarify various ambiguities in IFC documents;

Ø Prepare list of shop drawings and set submittal dates in accordance with the construction schedule;

Ø Liaise with MEP for coordination purposes;

Ø Attend meetings with sub-contractors to follow up on their shop drawings progress and monitor their technical output to make sure it is in line with the project’s design intent and specifications;

Ø Review sub-contractors shop drawings before official submission for a technical check-up and fine-tuning if needed;

Ø Resolve interface problems amongst various trades by preparing coordination shop drawings. (Architecture, Civil and MEP).

المهارات
Possess Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering
Proficient in BIM Modeling,3D Autocad, Revit is an added value.
Must have 8 -10 years of experience in Fit-Out projects with contracting companies
Should be able to work with minimum guidance.
