IT Project Manager

We’re looking for an effective project manager to help us successfully implement our Learning Management System SaaS solution here in Qatar. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and can multitask and work with various entities and levels of management to insure a timely and quality implementation of our solution.

Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing or recommending any project management related documents.
Reviewing and ensuring that project management principles are incorporated and applied.
Identifying, developing and promoting program/project management policies.
Providing progress reports.
Planning and implementing of the project.
Identifying and managing risks and solidify remediation plan
Facilitating the definition of project scope and goals.
Defining project tasks and resource requirements.
Developing full-scale project plans.
Liaising, coordinating, directing and monitoring the activities of project staff, PM/CM, design consultants, contractors and etc.
Liaising with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage projects.
Managing project budget and project resource allocation.
Reviewing contractors payment applications and participate in the timely preparation of monthly
payment requisition.
Keeping management informed on the progress of the project and any critical issues.
Tracking project deliverables.
Attending/chairing at relevant meetings/workshops.
Scheduling, attending, conducting and documenting all meetings with the contractor.
المهارات
2-4 years of project management and related experience
1+ years experience in Information Technology type projects
2+ years Microsoft Project experience including creation of new project plans and updating existing ones with progress
1+ experience working with multiple departments and business units and coordinate project tasks
Experience in generating PowerPoint presentations and presenting progress to top management
Experience developing project related KPIs and reporting on them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Computer Skills: Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Fluent in both Arabic and English (both verbal and written)
Software Engineering background is highly desirable
Strong work ethics
