Manage and oversee the day to day activities in the receiving department in terms of receiving goods according to the rules and regulations of the store and regulatory bodies of Qatar. Ensure the incoming and outgoing goods accurately as per the purchase order, in terms of quantity as well for assets.
Establish close relationship with key customers and become their trusted consultant and advisor related to products.
Create new value for clients to meet their unexpressed needs through innovative approaches such as Cross selling, marketing or new products and display.
Develop good relationship with senior and mid level management of suppliers for cost negotiations and on time delivery of items.
Examine product merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed.
Direct and supervise stockers engaged in sales, inventory-taking, performing service for customers on catering the required to the customers
Report any product merchandise discrepancies, disposals based on inventory, profit and loss to the department head/section manager
Delegate work activities to 3rd party employees such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays
Keep records of purchases and sales
Monitor sales activities daily turnover
Ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
Lead and implement of policies, goals, objectives and procedures of the section
Oversee the daily operations in the department.
Ensure safety rules, production and sanitation standards are met.
Resolve and reconcile Purchase Order related issues
Follow-up customer concerns/ complaints and examine discrepancy reports.
Performs other related duties as required.
Develop a detailed understanding of the shipping and receiving requirements especially from ABA logistic.
Organizing the shifts and delegating work to subordinates
Verifying received area same as the invoice orders.
Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area.
Ensuring the compliance of safety norms in the receiving area.
Ensure safe packaging for in and out parcels.
Ensures adherence to health & safety procedures according to Boecker requirements.
Verifies all merchandise deliveries according to Monoprix health and safety standards focus mainly on expiry date of goods.
المهارات
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in related field
Can speak English & Arabic is advantage
Proficient in MS Office suite
Computer Literacy is required
