الوصف الوظيفي • Disseminates information regarding the GECF’s objectives, policies and decisions, using appropriate communication channels. • Ensures effective presence of GECF across Social Media platforms and the utilization of such platforms to effective disseminate information about the Forum including its aims, objectives and activities • Provides support in the international activities of the Secretariat PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction and supervision of the International Affairs and PR Coordinator; 1. Assists with the development and implementation of the communications strategy of the Forum, and enhances the awareness of governments, international institutions and private companies, as well as the general public, about the aims, and objectives of the GECF. 2. Arranges meetings and dialogues with targeted policymaking bodies, institutions and organizations, coordinating meetings between Secretariat Staff and representatives of International peer Organizations. Develops and maintains networks with external experts and institutions in fields relating to the work of the Office. 3. Contributes to the office’s international activities through research, analysis on specific issues as identified by the International Affairs and PR Coordinator and makes input to reports and initiatives as needed. 4. Maintains the database of contacts in relevant International Organizations for effective coordination of international activities. 5. Provides support and assistance to the Secretary General and the Secretariat staff during their participation in international events, accompanies them during participation in international events if so required. 6. Creates, provides contents and maintains the Forum’s social media accounts. 7. Monitors the website and prepares monthly reports on traffic to the site. 8. Monitors production of digital videos, DVDs and photographs for GECF’s publications, Web site, Media, MCs’ and consumer countries’ delegations, maintains, and regularly updates the audio-visual archive and online photo library for the GECF. 9. Coordinates the design, production and administration of corporate gift items in cooperation with relevant staff from Administration and Finance Department. 10. Assists with preparation of materials for activities such as Monthly Guests Lectures, EB Meetings, etc.; provides support in speech preparation and follows-up with relevant departments of the Secretariat for necessary presentations, documents and brochures to ensure that GECF’s objectives, decisions and actions are represented in their true and most desirable perspective. 11. Carries out any other tasks assigned to him/her by his/her relevant supervisor as pertaining to his/her background, qualifications and position. المهارات Must possess excellent oral, written, and spoken English language skills (English is the official language of the Organization) PC Skills: Advanced PC Skills: working experience in all Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of marketing databases and design software (e.g. Photoshop); Skills, Knowledge & Personal traits: • Good knowledge of modern information practice and techniques is essential; • Knowledge of audio-visuals –such as photography, film and documentary production etc. • Familiarity with the use of Social Media for official communication and public relations activities • Ability to effectively engage online and physically with social media audience; • Able to work under minimal supervision • Commitment to quality work and strong attention to details. تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/qatar/jobs/general-relations-officer-4458997/ |
