Job Description

The UX Associate assists in all aspects of the product design process. This position involves working

under the guidance of multiple senior members of the design team from conception to deployment on product design, as well as employing conceptual and visual design skill. Duties can include conducting qualitative, quantitative, competitor and market research, writing and presenting analysis, designing high-level architecture and workflows, visual UI design, prototyping, producing style guides and assets, conducting visual QA in the development process, and graphic design.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Understand the needs, challenges, and pain points of the end user and acting as user advocate throughout the design process
Designing workflows and user journeys
Assisting in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
Wire framing
Prototyping
Visual design
Producing style guides and assets
A range of graphic design projects including Keynote presentations, visual identity development, and marketing graphics
المهارات
Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree
Skills

Understanding of HTML/CSS
Strong understanding of visual design tools; Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop
Understanding of information architecture and workflows, and ability to visually communicate them, from sketches to complex renderings
Motion graphics and animation experience a plus
Knowledge

Strong understanding of current design standards and trends
Understanding of the human-centered design process
Understanding of the product design process
Understanding of design history, and how it relates to current technology
Abilities

Strong portfolio demonstrating understanding of usability design, typography, and foundational graphic design principles
Exceptional written and verbal communication skill

UX Associate

Quality and accuracy of deliverables
Work delivered within timeframes assigned
Ensure business and operational risks are identified
Ownership of respective design assets and turnaround on fixes
Adherence to the agile development methodology
Contribution to the team and platforms roadmap
Validation of UX decisions alongside user habits
