To liaise with all departments in reference to the construction site of the project.
Responsible to ensure that work carried out by the construction department complies with company’s quality assurance procedures and ensures compliance with the client’s specifications.
Attend progress meetings with the Client’s representative and or Project Managers.
Chair weekly meetings with the construction team.
Chair weekly meetings with other departments of Planning, QA/QC, Procurement.
Hold weekly meetings with subcontractors.
Have full knowledge of budgets and costing of projects.
Daily visit to the site to review on-site technical problems.
To be involved with manpower and the allocation of it on site.
To assist with monthly reports for the Client.
To be familiar with safety procedures and to endeavor to see that these are observed. Hold weekly safety meetings.
To advise management of existing staff capabilities, training, and future requirements.
To hold a pre-start meeting with new subcontractors.
To read all correspondence.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
المهارات
Civil or Building Engineering Degree from an accredited University with applicable professional memberships and certifications.
Minimum of 10 years of Civil Commercial or Industrial construction experience, including direct experience supervising major construction projects.
Sound knowledge of Engineering Design and Construction Codes.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to work to project deadlines and within budget targets.
Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrate control of large work team.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Advantages to having computer skills.
To have sound knowledge of civil and finishing works and handing over a project.
Good communication skills when dealing with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers.
Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
