Position Summary
The Compensation Analyst researches job requirements and evaluates job positions to ensure the positions are competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits. This role participates in HR projects as the regular team member and provides inputs for the successful completion of projects as well as supports day-to-day employee compensation administration.
Job Responsibilities
Conducts job analysis for new and upgraded roles using a repository of position activities and competencies differentiating levels especially exempt vs non-exempt roles.
Creates and maintains job descriptions and assigns appropriate competencies for each position in the organization accurately reflecting job duties and hierarchical levels.
Supports the roll-out of competencies frameworks across the organization to support performance management, recruitment and sourcing and position evaluation activities.
Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Conducts job evaluations based on pre-determined factors according to the JE methodology.
Prepares compensation analysis for new hires and promotion/reclassification/restructuring/salary review cases in line with internal and external equity.
Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information for review/approvals.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required with 3-4 years of relevant experience. (Preferably as a combination of generalist/specialist).
CIPD, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous experience in competency rollout to support competency-based performance management, sourcing and selection.
Prior experience in competency -based assessment and interviewing skills.
Basic understanding/working knowledge of general US employment law as well as the Qatari HR laws in particular related to immigration/CEID rules, EEOC, ERISA, FLSA, COBRA, FLMA etc. is highly desirable.
High attention to accuracy and detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
Proven ability to provide a customer focused service with advanced organization skills and the ability to multi-task within demanding timeframes.
Well versed in written and spoken English (preferably Bilingual Arabic speaker).
Proficiency in MS Suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
