Description Key Roles & Responsibilities • Manage and facilitate pricing of Clients feeder and liner products through the Clients sales teams and agencies • Ensure pricing adhere to Clients pricing guide line to ensure maximum utilization of assets with clear MRG’s communicated as required • Ensure pricing team acts upon any pricing enquiry from agencies and sales team to ensure prompt handling of issues and queries to avoid loss of any pending booking • Manage OOG (and other special equipment) pricing in close coordination with operations to ensure lost slots or any particular operational requirements are considered • Provide full transparency of all operational cost elements of both feeder and liner products to ensure MRG’s are including all relevant cost details • Manage that all rate filings in system and SRR approvals, required prior any shipment takes place. • Manage maintenance of all tariffs including demurrage/detention free time tariffs. Ensure any deviation from standard demurrage/detention tariff is approved as per DoA (ref. pricing guideline) • Manage liner and feeder tenders with all internal stake holders to ensure tender process is adhered to and bids are submitted for internal reviews of BU management, Legal and Corporate Finance Department • Run P&L;analysis of the liner and feeder products after financial closing with sales and liner cost control and submit feedback to monthly Management Report and/or QBR’s. Contribute to development of service wise P&L;reports (system generated) • Manage consolidation of records related to trade developments, competitive service information. Manage feasibility studies with sales and operations for new market opportunities • Assess equipment/vessel supply/availability with operations/equipment control to ensure pricing is aligned accordingly • Ensure pricing in all sectors is considering compliance with legal, regulatory, and any other standards and regulations from regional authorities • Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities • Supervise subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review results • Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Professional Qualification: Diploma or professional qualification in the related field Bachelor’s Degree is preferred Professional Experience: 4 - 6 years of experience in related field Geographic Experience: Not required Computer Skills: Good knowledge of Office and web applications Language Skills: Business fluent English Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: Good knowledge of the requirements related to markets of Client operations

المهارات
Experience from short sea liner / feeder operators and or main line operators:-

- Trade management - exposure to Liner products & networks

- Container shipping pricing & tender management expertise

- Commercial - Sales or Customer Service experience would be an advantage

- Exposure to suitable industry relevant IT platforms and systems to facilitate work processes

NOTE: Please note that Client is looking for someone who has good experience in Pricing and Tendering .
