Workshop Manager

-Provide complete leadership for a mechanical workshop and service center involved in hydraulic repair and maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic circuits, overhauling heavy machinery, machining services (lathe, milling, gear cutting, drilling, slotting, etc) and sheet metal fabrication.

-Coordinating and supervising both on-field and shop floor activities including counter sales, servicing,
repair and production to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining desired quality standards.

-Monitoring day to day customer inquiries and requests, cost estimation, quotation preparation,
customer follow up, job acquisition, scheduling, and job execution until completion as per client’s
requirements.

-Providing day to day technical guidance and hands-on directives to the technical team for
troubleshooting, repair, overhauling of hydraulic machinery including cylinders, pumps, power
packs, heavy earth moving equipment, machine shop operation, and sheet metal fabrication.

-Visiting client’s sites to provide on-field assistance for troubleshooting and proposing alternative
innovative solutions for replacement or repair of hydraulic components.

-Provide technical leadership for expanding sheet metal fabrication business - manufacturing of tanks, boilers, silos, and other steel structures.

-Supervising design and fabrication of new hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power packs, and providing customized technical solutions as per customer requirements for both mobile and industrial
applications.

-Liaising with suppliers to establish long-term relationships ensuring timely procurement and stocking
of necessary inventory.

- Responsible for hiring high-quality technical staff

- Procuring machinery for sheet metal working, pipe and tube bending, and machine shop to enhance workshop productivity

- Provide management and leadership for technical staff and ensure their well being and productivity

- Providing the technical team with on job training to improve performance.

- Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

- Accomplishing engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
