As Company Nurse, you are responsible for providing emergency medical first aid treatment and ensure that the medical clinic is equipped with the necessary tools, machines and materials to effectively perform such action.

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1.1 Set up and maintain a medical clinic that is conducive for emergency first aid treatment.

1.2 Assist associates in accessing appropriate medical treatment. 

1.3 Maintain an inventory of all medical machine, tools, equipment and consumables. 

1.4 Maintain a record of the medical condition of each associate. 

1.5 Initiate awareness programs and activities that will educate associates on the importance of health and safety.

1.6 Notify associates on prevailing illness in the city and give information on how it can be prevented. 

1.7 Perform home or hospital visit, whenever necessary. 

1.8 Coordinate with the HR-Training in the conduction of first aid training for selected associates. 

1.9 Inform the Management of prevailing illness/health issues of associates by submitting a monthly report on: a. Reported Illnesses/medical condition as per Sick Leave Application B. Medicine consumption c. Hospital confinement cases

1.10 Work closely with the Food Safety, Security and Safety associates in maintaining a healthy, safe and clean work environment. 

2. General Responsibilities:

2.1 Contribute in creating a high morale and team spirit by maintaining effective relationships with all the associates in the Company. 

2.2 Perform other related duties as directed by your superior.

2.3 Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to your superior/s for the general improvement of the medical clinic operation.

2.4 Know the safety, fire and emergency procedures.

2.5 Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language.

2.6 Be polite and professional in any situation where the image of AKH is represented.

2.7 Interact with associates actively to establish good business relationship and solicit timely feedback.

3. Occasional Responsibilities:

3.1 Participate in any Training/Development scheme as recommended by senior management.

3.2 Assist Management Team in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.

3.3 Comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
