We are looking for a SCM Director in Supply Chain Management Department. Main responsibilities are to provide effective procurement (locally & internationally), logistic, storage and delivery of the Group merchandise and therefore improve customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels to keep it at minimum value without impacting availability and customer satisfaction:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a strategic and operational plan for integrating all supply chain activities in the Group under the management of the department.
Ensure best possible customer service (internal and external).
Establish and maintain appropriate system for measuring KPI’s for the different units of the department.
Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans as well as achievements within agreed format and timescale.
Ensure appropriate recruitment of managers and staff; ensure their training and development
Build a first class relationship with suppliers and make sure it’s developed and well managed; make sure that related business is well developed and managed.
Liaise with other divisional / department managers on regular basis to understand their needs of operational development and ensure synergy.
Safeguard the company assets (existing & new).
Ensure the development and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures, put the processes in place and document them.
Ensure that SCM-related activities meet and integrate with organisational requirement for quality management, health, safety and security, legal stipulations, environmental policies and procedures and general duty of care.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related courses.
Minimum 10 years managerial experience
Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain related field Financial background would be a plus.
Knowledge of the local/GCC market
Custom requirements
Excellent negotiation skills Excellent people management skills
Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic
Detail oriented Analytical ability
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills – Arabic a plus
Computer skills – Microsoft Office SAP knowledge is a plus
