Warehouse Supervisor - Retail

الوصف الوظيفي
- Responsible in providing efficient and effective supervision of stockers to ensure maximum productivity and accuracy in Monoprix warehouse activities (i.e. picking, put away and storage), whilst adhering to SOPs.
- Basically the responsibility is to maintain inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse.
- At the same time conducting monthly physical counts, and reconciling variances.
- Plan warehouse layout and space requirement s in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization
- Supervises all Food Warehouse operations to ensure:
- SOP adherence
- Put-away, replenishment and picking completed on-time and accurately.
- Good housekeeping.
- Consolidation of outgoing stocks to maximize cube-fill
- Ensures adherence to health & safety procedures
- Manage the receiving process (on site and off), verifies all merchandise deliveries according to Monoprix’s health and safety standards.
- Supervise the unloading of product from trucks and physically inspect each and every item for ingredients, date of expiry to meet municipality regulations.
- Supervise and assure all merchandise for the selling floor is verified against the purchase orders.
- Communicate advanced shipping information to department heads and the clearing agents for all formalities exit goods.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of all freight information through the inventory management system.
- Signing off on bill of lading, noting any damaged freight and handling the claims when needed.
- Work closely with the warehouse manager to maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layout based on the storage needs.
- Requesting ABA logistics for truck transfer from/ to warehouse.

المهارات
Requirements
- College degree and above
- Good English communication skills; Bilingual is a preference (e.g. English and Arabic or Hindi)
- Proficient in MS Office and Warehouse Operating Systems
- 5 years’ experience with 2 years supervisory experience in warehousing preferably in FMCG
