Position Summary
The Compensation Analyst researches job requirements and evaluates job positions to ensure the positions are competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits. This role participates in HR projects as the regular team member and provides inputs for the successful completion of projects as well as supports day-to-day employee benefit plan administration.
Job Responsibilities
Assists with developing standardized job descriptions using a repository of position activities and competencies.
Maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
Supports job assessment of job duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
Assists with new hire benefit enrollment and follow-ups with new employees to ensure timely enrollment.
May process benefit related entries to ensure accurate reflection for payroll in SAP.
Performs other related duties as assigned
المهارات
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Experience
One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
Some experience with benefits administration desirable.
Experience with SAP preferred.
CIPD, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Advanced time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
