Design Manager (ARCH & ID)

Our organisation is urgently seeking to employ a very skilled and experienced Design Manager whose responsibilities will include the following:

• He or she shall be the overall responsible for the Design Department and monitor the daily activates with his/her team.
• Review scope of work as per contract.
• Review Client requirements.
• Attend meetings and presentations with Client.
• Review proposed new concept(s) for Client requirements.
• Review and comment on new Interior concept documentation.
• Review Clients comments on concept and forward it to Sr. Level Designers for revisions.
• Attend further presentations to obtain final Client approval and sign-off.
• Issue approved concept to Technical and FFE Department.
• Coordinate documents with existing base building design and MEP.
• Review documents with Designers and Client before final presentation.
• Make final presentation of documents to Client for approval and sign-off.
• Review and comment on CD documents and tender package for interiors
• Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place.
• Receive tenders, evaluate and make recommendation to commercial department
• Review schedule, procurement, deliveries of the design.
• Assist in resolving design and construction conflicts.
• Coordinate with Commercial Manager for payments and variation orders.
• Assist the Project Manager in compiling and setting up the project budget, the Project Management Plan and project control system (QA requirements).
• Ensure technical quality of work.

المهارات
Requirements:

• Graduate of Architecture or Civil Engineering degree from a reputable university
• At 8-10+ years of experience in a very similar role
• Creative and artistic
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills
• Able to translate design experience and ideas in response to the challenges of a large-scale project
• Good administrative skills-able to plan, organize, and /manage/ oversee/coordinate the work
