Assist with the management and maintenance of the company’s Operating Model (OM) within the Group. Ensure the operating model evolves in tandem with the strategy in a timely and controlled manner and Group-OpCo touch points are clearly defined and consistent. Support the successful implementation of OM ensuring integration of change into the business.
Operating Model Implementation, Maintenance Compliance
Assist Director Organization Development in the implementation of the approved operating model
(to support strategy delivery and international expansion in consultation with the CEO’s of OpCo’s and the HR specialists within the Group HR function and any external consultancies as may be necessary.
Define and manage the pipeline of change requiring group operating model design
Develop the necessary knowledge of systems, processes and procedures to ensure all elements of the OM are aligned and all processes and procedures aligned across the group.
Work with all stakeholders to ensure that the operating model designed and implemented is regularly reviewed and maintained by establishing effective working relationships with all stakeholders across the Group.
Work with internal stakeholders to review and improve core operational processes.
Act as a custodian for defining, implementing and managing any changes to Operating Model elements (like Organization
Structure, Functional Statements, Role Profiles, Management Processes) linked across the group
Provide awareness sessions to existing staffs and new joiners on OM explaining all the elements of Operating Model and its correlation with the Group’s strategy
Group Executive & Supervisory Governance
Support implementation of Executive & Supervisory Governance by developing and maintaining HR authority matrix and management committee charters for HRC and Other functions committee/leadership team
Organization Structure
Develop and maintain organization structure design and refinements and assist Director - Organization Development in any restructuring exercise.
Manage, administer and maintain to the group’s enterprise solution to create data-rich charts that provides headcount calculations, retirement views, average tenure or any other data to Top Management to help them in making informed decisions. By transforming data into insight, the workforce analytics also helps CxOs adapt and respond to change.
Review the organizational structures within the OpCos across the Group and recommend improvement to ensure alignment with the Group OM.
Functional Statements
Develop and update the Functional Statements for all departments and ensure that all the functional responsibilities are clear defined avoiding any conflicts or duplication
Role Profiles
Develop Role Profiles for all staff in the group to ensure that all accountabilities are clearly defined avoiding any conflict or duplication
Support the evaluation team in conducting the evaluations for all roles within the group by providing them with up to date role profiles
Assist OpCos in developing role profiles upon request
Create and maintain up to-date repository of the group & OpCo Role Profiles which are aligned with the approved structure and functional statements
Job Families
Develop Job Family model for the group to ensure consistency in grading and rewards. It also provides a solid bases for talent management, such as succession planning, career development and HR planning.
Assist OpCos in developing their Job Family models to ensure alignment with the group.
