Responsibile for the workshop’s achievement of its financial objectives.
Responsibile for achievement of customer satisfaction objectives.
Ensure that manufacturer requirements are complied with (warranty policy, daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements).
Ensure compliance with manufacturer service action and recall procedures.
To make sure the workshop assists & integrates effectively with other departments (Service advisers, PDI, Sales, Parts department).
Maintain positive morale in the workshop.
Ensure workshop cleanliness standards are maintained.
Responsible for correct tooling, calibration & upkeep of equipment.
Responsible for updating all manufacturer communication i.e.: SSM, Service actions etc.
Skill Activities:
Monitor the daily sold hours and report the workshop groups output compared to target
Support the group leaders ensuring they have everything required to do their jobs
Using manufacturers online systems, ensure the group leaders carry out their reporting, and comply with your own reporting requirements
Coordinate with group leaders on preparing a training plan.
Customer Relations:
Ensure customers vehicles are repaired in an efficient timely fashion.
Monitor Quality control compliance
To monitor technicians use of vehicle protective kit
To follow up with parts department on special order and cannibalized vehicles.
Control of costs:
Ensure that all time spent on jobs and materials used are accurately recorded on job cards.
Work carefully to avoid accidental damage to vehicles and components during work activities.
Seek to minimise wastage of all materials, oils and fluids by careful use and encouraging the careful use by others.
Care for all plant and tools belonging to the business and not to misuse same. Advise others on the safe and proper use of equipment and correct interpretation of data.
Ensure that all work undertaken complies with both dealership and manufacturers’ safety standards.
Seek to minimise non-revenue and other diversionary time by using an organised and disciplined approach to job tasks and objectives. Accurately record and report on all such lost time in an objective manner to assist the Service Manager seek ways to reduce and overcome diversionary and lost time problems.

5 years’ experience in a same or similar role, in luxurious automotive brands.
Expert in communication about the vehicle issues.
Trainings and Certifications with luxurious automotive brands.
