الوصف الوظيفي
Ensures that the highest standard of environmental, safety, and health are promoted, implemented and maintained at the project site.
Assists HSE department staff in ensuring the effective implementation of the company’s requirements, systems, business ethics, principles, and objectives.
Ensures that company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and environment are fully implemented at each phase of the project.
Prepares, revises, and implements HSE Management plan; ensures that all employees, sub-contractors, and clients adhere to HSE plan, and organizes HSE activities covers in the HSE plan.
Identifies training needs, organizes and conducts training on HSE practice and awareness, and provides safety information and guidance to site team on proper HSE procedures, current and potential hazards, training for emergencies, including serious accidents, fire, evacuation, etc.
Responsible for the administration of the HSE programs which requires a thorough knowledge of safety, fire and health regulations and ensures compliance with the statutory requirement.
Implements and monitors the effectiveness of START (Safety Through Achieving Recognition Together) program, daily TBT (Tool Box Talk) and ensures to maintain the culture of Zero Accident.
Participates in environmental health and safety meetings held by the Clients; coordinates safety meetings with subcontractors including coordination and Tool Box meeting.
Carries out safety audit on site offices and construction projects, and generates reports and recommendations; raises non-compliance report for any deviations in health, safety and environment rules and regulation.
Conducts investigations of all lost-time accidents, analyses significant first aid cases, near-misses, and/or damage to property or equipment. Implements emergency response; analyses and completes Incident, Investigation Report and reports any serious injury to the Management.

Skills/Qualification:
Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Occupational Safety & Health)
Minimum of 20 years of experience, with 10 years of experience as a professional ES & H Manager in the GCC.
Extensive hands-on experience as a Project HSE Manager to review, formulate & implement the appropriate HSE Strategies for Infrastructure and Road projects in line with HSE objective and Policy of the Company.
Strong written and oral communication skills a must.
Onsite experience in supervising construction activities.
NEBOSH IGC 1,2,3., OSHA / IOSH.
Competency certification (e.g. Lead Auditor OHSAS 18001 – Lead Auditor ISO 14001)
