Parsons’ engineering and construction management staff members create innovative, safe, and sustainable infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assume all responsibilities related to project geotechnical works such as pile designs, retaining walls design, recommendations on soil parameter and for shallow and deep foundation designs of structure, manholes, shaft etc.
Assist in design and provide recommendations / soil parameters for deep excavations, deep tunnel (Micro Tunnel, TBM etc), pipes, earthworks, excavation, slope stability analysis calculations and seismic assessments etc.
Assist in external and internal coordination pertinent to geotechnical works and design.
Review, comment, recommend acceptance or otherwise on contractors’ and consultants’ submissions.
Liaise with utilities providers and stake holders.
Perform actual design duties and other related duties when directed.
المهارات
Minimum of 15 years post-graduate and demonstrable overall experience in the geotechnical field with not less than 7 in works related to similar large scale open cut and/or micro tunneling sewerage, surface & ground water networks projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
Professional Qualification from a recognized International Institution
Experience working in Qatar is preferred.
