Parsons is seeking a candidate with a desire to enhance the fabric of our community. Role: As part of the client Rolling Stock team you will be part of the group to accept rolling stock onto the network. This will include: Review the Rolling Stock Testing procedures and testing reports proposed by the contractor in line with the Employer Requirements.
Review delivery and installation procedures and reports.
May conduct some specific supervision tasks of the Rolling Stock manufacturing.
Participate to the off-site (upon Client request) and on-site Testing and Commissioning.
Participate in meetings regarding the Rolling Stock testing and integration.
Communicate early warnings
Support the commercial, project controls, contracts, systems and doc control teams as required
Support the Engineering and Systems Safety team as required
Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
Extracts engineering information from design and specification information.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Report to the Rolling Stock Manager in a timely manner whenever required
Create and promote a continuous improvement approach on their work
