الوصف الوظيفي Key functions of this position shall include: § Assisting in the establishment of a number of avionic based component repair and overhaul workshops (Starter/Generator bay, FLIR test bay, Battery Bay) § Developing processes and procedures for the use of equipment situated in the avionic workshops § Developing and delivering OJT to QEAF personnel assigned to each avionic workshop § Ensuring the safety and compliance of personnel in the use of all workshops equipment § Effective communication and building strong partnerships with Key Stakeholders including QEAF HW3 workshops personnel, Cobham engineering and training organisations. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Technical workshops involve the use of potentially harmful specialist Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul equipment that requires strict compliance with OEM technical data and compliance with bespoke safety procedures. The Avionics Workshops Specialist must deliver a culture of safety first ahead of training or delivery schedule and maintain the highest level of safety and technical compliance across the mechanical workshops for which they are responsible. As an Avionics Workshop Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: To assist in the establishment of a number of avionic workshops, develop processes and procedures for the use of equipment in those workshops and then conduct OJT to nominated QEAF personnel allocated to those workshops. This includes, but is not limited to; § Compliance with the Cobham Aviation Services and QEAF and Regulatory, safety and compliance systems where applicable § Compliance with all QEAF regulatory and technical requirements § Delivering training plans and developing OJT task books for the use of workshops equipment. § Maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relations. Personal Skills/Abilities § Strong knowledge of aircraft avionic maintenance and support systems at both first and second line, especially with regard to the Leonardo AW139 helicopter § Sound knowledge of safety systems and environment controls relating to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul § The ability to conduct OJT in an avionic component maintenance environment. § Team oriented with proven advanced communication and influencing skills § Customer focussed with strong personal and communication skills § Self-Motivated, confident and assertive § Educational Vocational Qualifications – Aircraft Engineer with previous experience in workshop level avionic component maintenance, repair and overhaul. Experience § Proven track record in aviation maintenance with at least 5 years in a avionic component repair environment, preferably in support of the AW139 aircraft. § Strong knowledge of technical requirements related to avionic Component Repair and Overhaul. § Experience in developing processes and procedures for the use of complex workshop test equipment. § Experience in OJT in an aviation environment § A sound knowledge in starter generator and FLIR systems EO cameras § Demonstrated team player and partnership skills in dealing with stakeholders § Ability to develop and deliver On Job Training to suitably qualified technical personnel |
