Rolling Stock Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Summary Be part of the client team to manage the contractor in supplying 35 new 3 car sets for a modern and technologically advanced metro. The role will be to seamlessly integrate into a small client team and conduct the Rolling Stock Trainset checking and verification of the rolling stock design and delivery onto the Metro as they arrive from the Contractor.
BSc, BEng, BA or Equivalent, has total experience of more than 10 years, has similar experience of at least 5 years
Be familiar with different international standards and specifications for Rolling Stock and Metros. Job Posting Review of the Rolling Stock design according to the Employer Requirements.
Review of the interface between the Rolling Stock and the depot equipment, the Civil Work and the System.
Review of all Rolling Stock technical documents (technical specifications, operation manuals, maintenance manuals, spare parts manuals).
Conduct supervision of the Rolling Stock manufacturing and off-site testing upon Client request.
Participate to the on-site Testing and Commissioning.
Participate to the meetings regarding the Rolling Stock.
Communicate early warnings
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Lead the Trainset Post Delivery Inspections
Report to the Rolling Stock Manager or in a timely manner whenever required
Create and promote a continuous improvement approach on his work
