Role Objective
The Head of Retail Marketing shall be responsible for
Managing the day-to-day interactions with Retailers concerning marketing support
Maintain close working relationship with counterparts within the department to ensure delivery of the Retail Marketing Strategy
Deployment and reporting on retail marketing calendar
Key Accountabilities:
Propose and agree on budget allocation and be responsible for ensuring campaigns are delivered within budgets within agreed timeframes
Establish great working relationships with colleagues in the marketing team to ensure clarity of positioning, and ensure effective translation of the retail marketing strategy and operational plan
Work as part of an integrated Marketing team to deliver the highest priority campaigns
Work with Brand and Media Engagement teams to agree appropriate media channels and develop campaign media strategies
Lead the development of creative briefs and ensure that marketing communications are characterized by the highest creative standards
Conduct creative agencies briefings, and oversee team interactions to ensure collaborative relationships with creative resources, both in-house and from agencies to optimize output
Manage the development of relevant, integrated and cost-effective cross media marketing initiatives across retail destinations to deliver footfall objectives
Hold regular core campaign output reviews
Evaluate and learn through ensuring appropriate analysis and measurement of campaigns
Ensure all marketing and communication activities are compliant with Brand guidelines
Manage and mitigate risks and resolve and escalate issues as required.
Keep ahead of developments in the field of marketing and technology/digital trends, maintaining links with the industry and incorporating into marketing plans where relevant.
Contribute to the development of annual strategic marketing plans to enable the marketing team to make appropriate marketing investment decisions
Carries out and performs other related duties as specified and when required and assigned by the Line Manager to improve or enhance the efficiency of department’s work and performance.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
Minimum 8-10 year experience in mall marketing (with at least 4 in supervisory role).
Strong organizing and planning skills
Creativity, ingenuity, and imagination as it pertains to business strategy is key to success.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong problem solving or compromising abilities.
A successful team leader, able to manage self and others within a complex matrix environment
Experience of leading the delivery of multi-media campaigns within broadcasting or an industry with a similar brand facing business
A deep understanding of marketing techniques including qualitative and quantitative analysis
Experience in leading mall events and promotions
Excellent communication skills (Arabic speaker is preferred)
