Job Description:
Carries out regular routine and breakdown maintenance of Field Instruments (Flow Meter, Pressure Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Pressure Gauges, Differential Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitters, Level Switches, Temperature & Vibration Transducers and sensors, control panels, WQE and its related Indicator and Recorders, etc) of Reservoir& Pumping Stations, Well fields and RO plants.
Major Duties and Job Responsibilities:
• Attend On-Call duty (Round the clock) for any emergency problems related to Field Instruments & equipment’s.
• Assist other section foreman & technician in completing combined works.
• Prepare spare requirement to Foreman & Engineer and withdraw it’s from the stores.
• Assist his foreman in inspection of contractor’s works.
• Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
Qualification Requirements:
• Three Year Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Electronic Instrumentation Engineering
Job Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar water company/ industries and having exposure in the field of maintenance in all Process instruments like Flow Meter, Pressure Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Pressure Gauges ,Differential Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitters, Level Switches, Temperature & Vibration Transducers and sensors, Water Quality Equipment’s like pH, Conductivity, Free Chlorine, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Temperature Analyzers, Sensor and Portable WQE Calibrators, control panels, etc. of Pumping stations & RO Plants.
Work Environment
• Working in open desert area & climbing on water towers up to 50 meters height.
• Working in chemical surroundings
• Extensive traveling between venues/depots during normal and or outside office hours.
• 90% Site work + 10% Office.
Other Significant Requirements:
• Be able to be on a standby basis.
• Certified Field Instrument calibration personal is additional advantage.
• The routine & corrective maintenance to be carried out by respective Technicians as per Kahramaa guidelines and prudent operation and maintenance practices.

• Good exposure and understanding of P&ID;Drawings, Instrument & Electrical Control drawings, As built drawing of Marshalling, Mimic, Control Panels and have the capability of trouble shoot problem individually with minimum guidance and Handling of Special tools like Instrument Calibrators, HART Communicator (Handheld & Using PC).
• Fully aware of safety requirements, international standards and KAHRAMAA regulations.
• Trouble shooting of PLC, SCADA & Relay logic control system and repairs of Electronic Cards of Instruments and equipment’s of Pumping stations and RO Plant.
• Assist his foreman in troubleshooting and fault-finding procedures.
• Assist his foreman in testing and commissioning of old and new equipment’s installation.
• Preparation of work related reports.
• Good in speaking, reading, and writing of English for manual readings and communication purposes.
• Knowledge of the Reservoir Pumping Station and RO plant’s Operation Systems & associated equipment’s.
• Able to read and understand Electrical & instrumentation as-built drawings, schematic control drawings, O& M manuals and procedure.
• Be able to work with group.
• Know all safety aspects of the work to prevent accidents.
Qatari driving license preferred.
• Ability to work onsite independently
