ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- departmental contact for queries on technical aspects of work between the Senior Laboratory Technicians and Medical Manager
- works alongside the Management Team on projects in the company which includes selection of applicants and conducting interviews if needed
- undertakes any technical tasks commensurate by the Management Team
- monitors equipment operation and report malfunctioning equipment to the Medical Director
- conducts chemical analysis of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases
- manages in the set up, adjustment and maintenance of the medical laboratory equipment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- analyzes the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices
- monitors analysis and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives
- examines blood smear to diagnose any abnormalities
- supervise blood collection from patients and observes principles of asepsis to obtain blood sample
- determines a final diagnosis when abnormal results are found
- manages and instruct other technicians and laboratory assistants
- reads the Mantoux Skin Test to confirm Tuberculosis or BCG vaccination
- supervises Internal and External Quality Control Program
- responsible in maintaining smooth work flow for every section
- manages daily/weekly maintenance, check -up, calibration and trouble shooting of equipment
- irregularities, and continuing needs
- contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- performs any other technical duties as directed by his/her superiors
المهارات
- Doctorate (MD)/ Medicine Degree from a recognized University or Specialist Certificate (whatever is applicable)
- 5 yrs. post graduate experince.
- Full time position available
