General Manager - Dates (Dry Fruits) Food (Division)

Primary purpose of the role
The incumbent of this role will be a part of the Client subsidiary of Parent Company Qatar whose primary purpose is to provide superior thought leadership to and control all strategic and business aspects of the subsidiary, responsible for strategic direction and creation of a vision for success and its achievement.
Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
Lead and motivate heads of divisions to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing leadership team.Lead the process of development and reviewing of the corporate strategy including Operational Goals and Objectives that are aligned with the strategic goals of Company in Qatar.Prepare long term and annual operating plans and budgets which support strategy implementation, including regular reviews and re-forecasts.Provide superior thought leadership to all operations and business activities in Company to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and goals. Build trusting relationships with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
Be the primary spokesperson for Company and the company’s ‘Image Ambassador’ to communicate effectively and frequently with the business’ internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure corporate compliance of Company with relevant laws, codes of conduct, Quality certification standards and ethical standards. Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements. Promote and champion NAFCO’s corporate culture with a focus on transparency of operations and inspire the workforce to imbibe the QATAR value system of Client.
Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and devise solutions to ensure company sustenance and growth .Periodically evaluate performance of divisional heads and other direct reports against objectives and identify potential areas to improve operational and functional efficiency.
Educational Qualification
Master of Business Administration

المهارات
Mandatory Experience Required
Proven experience as GM or Director in food production environment
Demonstrated leadership experience across business development , operations management and entrepreneurial functions
Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: QAR25,000.00 to QAR28,000.00 /month
