الوصف الوظيفي College/Department Profile: The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of IT Operations Section Head in the Information Technology (IT Operations). Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, Information Technology (IT Operations) must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the (Department Name) in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision. Duties & Responsibilities: This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop and implement the strategic and operational plan for the CNA-Q IT Department, and provide leadership and supervision of the IT Operations team. Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of IT Operations Section Head. The successful candidate is responsible to provide support to the Information Technology department (IT operations) and development of the IT Department business plan. Responsibilities include creating, aligning and monitoring the IT Operations budget, deliverables and timelines with the College’s strategic and operational plans and ensuring compliance protocol requirements. Candidates will be responsible to develop new training and professional development opportunities that will facilitate growth and efficiency in the IT department and build positive relationships; and oversee the IT infrastructure, including telecommunications, audio-visual, IT hardware, IT software and network operations, and ensure proper and effective functioning in alignment with operational objectives. Candidates will provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates to contribute to the development of employees and must have excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, delegation and communications skills as well as the ability to act as a mentor to team members. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required Master’s degree preferred Language: Fluency in written and spoken English language
The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage quality and risk at all times. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in technology systems, such as IT Infrastructure and Network communications is also required. A Commitment to ongoing IT training and continuous professional development. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English language. |
