Your responsibilities will be to create project designs for Steel Structure Projects ranging from industrial buildings, stores, Hangers, mezzanines, platforms, pipe racks, bridges, canopies, Misc. steel (HR, Grating, stairs)…etc. Manage and assist with work on all phases of various projects including estimation, design development, preparation of, design drawings, shop drawings and specifications, design review…etc.
For each of the projects, you will have to create a design following the client’s requirements and needs including the use of design soft-wares such as STAAD Pro, X-Steel (TEKLA), SAP2000, AutoCAD…etc. by creating design calculations and Design drawings. Manage and assist with design development. Review production drawings and specifications. Research materials to determine appropriate selection’s for project. Analyze client problems and assist in the development of design solutions to those problems.

المهارات

1. Structural Steel Engineer to design Steel Structures, PEB and Connection Design and miscellaneous steel items such as Handrail, stairs, grating…etc.

2. Strong knowledge in using BENTLEY software’s: RAM Element, RAM Connection, STAAD pro, PROKON.

3. Knowledge and work experience with different steel design standards and codes as BS, AISC, ASCE, IBC and UBC

4. Familiar with SAP2000 Software.

5. Proficient in Auto-cad.

6. Knowledge in Material take off & detailing using Tekla.

7. Experience in steel manufacturing process (estimation, material specs, fabrication, painting, and erection);

8. Develop/ review shop drawings to facilitate the fabrication and installation process efficiently

9. Knowledge in steel building’s constructability and lifting plan for heavy items.

10. Experience in Building & industrial steel structure works, steel construction

11. Knowledge and experience in erection methodology for steel projects.

12. Computer literate (MS office program & applications)

13. Excellent Communication skills and excellent English (written & spoken)

14. Respond to technical issues from projects and attend meetings with consultants and contractors as required.

15. Raise technical RFI and record changes

16. Prompt and high standard work and Capable of meeting deadlines.

17. Ability to work in a team environment.

18. Work on own, as required and able to use own initiative.

19. Working out the loads and stresses on different parts of a structure.
20. Cooperation, professional and high morals
