The Packaging Foreman is responsible for leading all packaging activities on a daily basis. This position supervises the quality and warehousing of vegetables and fruits. Following up the daily operations of the packaging team is given, to achieve team and company objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Isolate any product which will not meet the established quality standards or may cause a food safety hazard if eaten.
2. Make sure employees are following company’s packing standards, keep their area clean at all times, and tools picked up.
3. Perform all work in accordance with company standards and established safety procedures.
4. To train and direct laborers in their various jobs, in a way which will promote safety, quality, and productivity.
5. Assist in the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely processing of productions and orders.
6. Assist in ensuring quality in every aspect of the product.
7. Coordinate Production
8. Assist in production when needed
9. Prepare the production schedule
10. Other duties as assigned.
المهارات
Minimum Requirements
2 years’ experience as vegetable packing and processing.
Qualifications
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Time Management Skills and Self-Motivation
• High School Education or Equivalency Required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process, procedures, and machinery. Must have complete understanding of the function and operation of vegetables and fruits’ packaging.
• Teamwork: Demonstrated teamwork. Ability to work well with others.
