VAM Systems WLL is currently looking for Network Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Skill set required
• 6 + years Industry-related experience as Network Administrator
• Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP) CCIE preferable
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools, Cisco Prime, HP)
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)
• Sharp troubleshooting skills in F5 and cisco Devices
• Ability to work independently
• Organizational and mentoring skills
• BSc/B-tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure
• Resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated
• Mentoring team members and addressing user needs
• Data Center Migration.
• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Maintain complete technical documentation
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
