Your main goal will be to generate new clients and identifying, developping and maintaining property sales objectives, sales plans, and programs in accordance with the hotel’s mission statement.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing, maintaining and increasing high levels of revenue from the corporate market to the hotel. As mentioned, the selling efforts will be directed to the corporate market and will also include all activities designed to develop maximum room, F&B;and other related sales.
Establishes and maintains contacts within the assigned industry (Local Corporate).
Establish, maintain and use library of reference materials, periodicals, texts and sales leads: stay ahead of market trends and hotel selling techniques
Active outside face-to-face sales calling required (minimum 5 sales calls per day).
Identifies and analyzes competition and takes appropriate action steps.
Follows the established Sales and Marketing strategies.
Establishes quarterly action plans for the handled key prospect and key accounts.
Maintains efficient sales office procedures and ensures the maintenance of accurate and updated account files and follow-up procedures.
Maintains all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, conference calendar, traces of history and potentials, logs of groups not previously accommodated and mailing lists.
Ensures the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts (i.e., tracing, booking, contracting, communicating with departments, and following up with group for feedback and future bookings).
Handles a minimum of 250 -300 accounts on his/her file load.
Maintains high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community as appropriate.
Designs new programs and sales campaigns, to develop additional sales from the respective market. Recommending and implementing special promotions for the Corporate market.
Be actively involved in developing methods to maintain and increase business volume, this includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training and control, guest relations.
Set up appropriate filing systems of existing and potential accounts, keeping up to date and properly categorized.
Submit monthly and weekly sales plans as well as daily sales/activity reports which will also include persons entertained for sales purposes.
Professionally represents the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
Provide feedback and support to all departments.
Participate as a team player with all departments.
Assist with projects and reports.
Requirement:
minimum of 3 year experience
previously experience in Qatar (views favourably)
