Expected to report to work on time and to remain on the job throughout the regular working hours.
Keep workshop supervisors and service advisors informed of job delays and any additional work required.
Ensure all customers’ vehicles are delivered within promised delivery times by the workshop.
Distribute job cards with expected job completion time.
Ensure continued dealership profitability through correct loading of the service shop, based on facility and manpower capacities.
Distribute job cards to the most appropriately skilled technician based on priority and completion time. Dispatching of job cards must be based on technicians’ skill matrix.
Determine daily manpower capacity based on the total hours of the available technicians.
Ensure accurate recording of hours available and hours worked.
Record number and causes of carry-over jobs.
Contribute to total customer satisfaction by ensuring proper distribution and execution of all repair orders and sublet repairs.
Keep service advisors informed when no more work can be taken based on available hours.
Maintain accurate time keeping records by ensuring all technicians clock - on and off all job cards.
Determine daily manpower capacity based on the total hours of the available technicians.
Indicate and record the incidences and causes of job stoppages.
Contribute to efficient service operations by reducing the causes and time taken for job stoppages.
Prioritize waiting customers (Appointments, repeat repairs, and car-over work).
Monitor and follow up on work progress for each technician to ensure completion on time.

Good communication Skills
Team Player
Able to test the vehicle and diagnose faults. Technician experience preferred.
