Interior Designer

الوصف الوظيفي
We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of interior designer. The interior designer’s key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs, and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications. You will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.

You speak Arabic and English fluently.
You are able to think creatively about the use of space, colour and movement, and you draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration.
You are an effective communicator with the ability to persuade in communicating a design idea.
You are a proficient project manager who successfully manages different stakeholders, budgets and deadlines.

المهارات
Prior record of completing interior decoration projects as a freelancer or in association with a design agency.
Adept at understanding design elements like balance, contrast, scale, and other technical aspects of interior decoration.
Capable of understanding all the required features of design software solutions and other digital tools.
Collection of all the different interior designing assignments and projects in soft or hard copy form.
Communication and presentation skills.
Graduate level education in Interior Designing or other relevant sub-domain.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
Mandatory bilingual - Arabic and English speaker.
Highly creative, imaginative and artistic, with an eye for details and design.
Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions).
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
Ability to read and draw blueprints.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.
Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
