Bringing Technology to life As a Field Service Engineer – Controls, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing and oversees work at the a field site, providing quality service to the customer. Job role may include sales, job design, execution, and follow up activities. As a Field Service Engineer – Controls, you will be responsible for: · Performing in autonomy the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites. · Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the TPS Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures. · Providing records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations. · Leading and executing assembly/installation and alignment of the equipment · Leading and executing independently inspection of the equipment · Driving Safety, On-time Delivery, Productivity, Quality, and Cost · Performing field engineering service work, as required, to properly serve the customer · Supporting emergent and emergency customer needs · Creating an engaging work environment where other BH and the customer’s employees are motivated to optimally perform Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: · Have an Engineering degree from an accredited university or college. · Have minimum 5 years of experience in Control system for Gas Turbines and rotating machinery. · Have experience in control system for turbine gas turbines. · Have Fluency in English both written and spoken. · Have the flexibility to travel up to 70% of the time. · Preferable to have the knowledge of Mark VI & Mark VIe Control Panel or Allen Bradley PLC5 & panel view or Siemens STEP5 & Contrologix or GE Fanuc 9030 & Simplicity * Anti-surge system knowledge, in addition to vast experience & knowledge in the ”Suvimac”.
