With us you will:

Operation Integration & Commissioning of GPON network (ISAM 7302 & 7360, AMS 5520, NA-F 5530, SDC 5529, HDM 5580) to provide Corporate, residential and Mobile backhaul services over fiber (FTTx).
Providing Level 2 support for GPON (ISAM 7302/7360, AMS 5520) & Optical Fiber monitoring ONMS to handle complex incidents and problems. Software upgrade on NEs & OMS as and when required.
End to end Fixed Access network support (Presales, Requirements / LLD, Development, Pre-Integration testing, End-to-End testing, Deployment, Training, Subscriber Migration, Customer acceptance, Maintenance and Customer support).
Monthly study on capacity status of the optical network and keep design informed about the utilization in regular agreed intervals. .
Ensures projects/products are delivered on time and on budget
O&M;support for Fixed Access platforms to respond, resolve and to provide workarounds for the incidents in real time within agreed customer SLAs
To identify and create proper methods of preventive maintenance for all fixed access nodes.
To identify all potential risks in the network and to ensure proper recovery plans are in place
Implementation of network changes.
Responsible for Network & service provisioning all kind of services (SOHO, SIP-T, Corporate Internet, E-VPN, IP-VPN etc…) for corporate and Retail customers.
Experience in OFC Splicing and maintenance.
Having Complete Knowledge on Optical Fiber laying and Fiber rectification
Coordinated with Vendors, sub-vendors, engineers from vendors, supervisors & splicing teams in case of incident
Troubleshooting various network problems port enabling, crimping .etc
Provide engineering support to field staff.
Assist with vendor equipment selection, including OLT, CPE, and other access platforms.
Apply design best practices to Vodafone Fiber’s network with an appreciation of GIS data handling.
Create and present network design summaries including methodology.
Daily Optical network operations troubleshooting & preventive actions, including WDM network.
Delivery for the new service creation & configuration on the WDM network.
Daily / weekly / monthly Health check on DWDM and Microwave network, as well as the monitoring system.
DWDM Amplifier link commissioning
Follow up the issues & cases raised with the Vendors L2/L3 technical support
Incident management & follow up with the NOC for the different problems in the fixed & optical network.
Develop processes, procedures, and documentation for the engineering of OSP and ISP solutions for operations.
Apply design best practices to Vodafone Fiber’s network with an appreciation of GIS data handling.
Network LLD/HLD Updating
Create and present network design summaries including methodology and rational
Check & Provides design schematics of fiber path and splicing work to be performed for fiber projects, relocation of existing fiber facilities, and restoration of existing traffic
Ensures inventory of fiber circuits is accurate by inputting fiber usage data into inventory management database and maintaining information as changes occur
Establishes and maintains effective communications and professional working relationships with customers both internal and external
Organizes workday efficiently to maximize productivity by utilizing proper time management techniques
Assists in the accomplishment of company objectives by performing other related duties as assigned
المهارات
Apply if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecom/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields
At least 7 years of proven experience working in a large-scale telecom carrier/vendor and/or enterprise environment in similar profile.
Min 6 Year configuration, operation and integration of fibre optics and GPON system
Solid understanding of fixed access network
Be good at communication coordination external and internal, and good at finding and solving problems.
Familiar with Fixed network engineering design standards and specifications, relevant products and elements knowledge, and various planning & design tools.
Good Project management skills.
Prior experience with a telecom carrier or large enterprise organization with Hi-cap circuits (ex. 1Gb, 10Gb, SONET, DWDM, etc.).
Nokia Optical Network & Nokia Service routing architect Certification is an advantage
Good knowledge in fixed access network topology
Ability to correspond effectively with a variety of functional teams and strong interpersonal skills for supporting cross functional teams
Proficient analytical, organizational, and time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize assignments
Basic knowledge of Fiber Network Design preferred
Strong knowledge about the FTTx Network Active & Passive equipment
Expert in GPON network (OLT/ISAM 7302 & 7360, AMS 5520, NA-F 5530, SDC 5529, HDM
Expert in fixed management system AMS/EMS/HDM
Good Knowledge in data network technologies such as ATM, TCP/IP, MPLS, DSL, SDH
Expert in Network & service provisioning all kind of services (SOHO, SIP-T, Corporate Internet, E-VPN, IP-VPN etc…) for corporate and Retail customers.
Experience in fibre Optics & Knowledge of international standards for ATM, IP and related protocols with 4 years of experience in Fiber Optics Maintenances , OSP and ISP technologies
Experience in ALU, ISAM 7302 FD ,ISAM 7360
High-level knowledge in OSS/BSS system.
End to end support to On-board the fixed BB customers
Maintain and track all the Customer patching details.
Maintain SLA and support for customer activation, patching in CO and Building Side
Closely follow-up with project team to maintain the building declaration readiness.
Weekly and monthly Report for all Fixed access platform.
Strong Knowledge on DWDM Systems. (Preferred knowledge Infinera, Nokia, Huawei or OTN Systems)
Strong Experience in Nokia 1830PSS - 32/16/4/36/64, TSS320 (H), ISAM 7302 FD ,ISAM 7360 FX, Nokia 9800 MPR and DWDM Huawei OSN 9800 M12 & OSN 8800.
Min 4 Year In-depth knowledge and experience with Nokia PSS32/36/64 Equipment and Huawei OSN releases DWDM platform and NMS platforms [ Nokia NFM-T & Huawei NCE]
Optical Transport Network installation & Commissioning.
Strong understanding for network Design, Installation, Roll-out, Commissioning, Maintenance, 24/7 Support for the WDM network
Strong technical troubleshooting skills & ability
Prior experience with a telecom carrier or large enterprise organization with Hi-cap circuits (ex. 1Gb, 10Gb, SONET, DWDM, etc.).
Good communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Good analytical skills and open mind
