Level 1 Cisco IPT Engineer

Manage, troubleshoot, and provide Level 1 support for CISCO IPT infrastructure.  Responding to monitoring alerts to identify and take appropriate action to avoid service impact.  Providing incident and change management.  Ensuring incidents, service requests and maintenance tasks are managed within customer SLA’s.  Cisco IPT administration including MACD.  Manage and configure Cisco Gateway Dial Peer, SNMP.  Perform Cisco Gateways, CME, VG224 and end-devices configurations.  Troubleshoot SIP call problems, tracing and capturing logs and analyzing SIP call traces.  Support advanced centralized dial plan and SRST by routing a call from Unified Communication  Completing UC and telephony system routine maintenance checks.  Diagnosing and resolving software, hardware and usage issues.  Provide a technical response to incidents and service requests, achieving immediate resolution where possible or alternatively performing diagnostics to identify the best possible escalation path whilst ensuring effective handover of diagnostics carried out to date and results.  Liaise with OEMs and Vendors during issues and maintenance activities.  Awareness of Industry standards such as ITIL.  Demonstrates a good end to end understanding of the business process & functions

المهارات
2+ of Level 1 experience with Cisco IP Telephony (CUCM, CUC, IM&P;).

BE/B.Tech Degree / Diploma or equivalent.

Valid CCNA Collaboration or equivalent certification is mandatory.

Knowledge of Cisco HCS will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of Contact Center setup is an added advantage.

Using RTMT tool for troubleshooting and logs collection while liaising with Cisco TAC.

Good Knowledge of CSS, Partition, Translation rules/patterns/profiles, Dial Peers, Route Patterns/Group/List, Trunks and Gateways, Device Pool, Managing phone firmware, Conferencing, MTP, Transcoding.

Experience with incident management and service requests.
