We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Qatar for:

ASSISTANT OPERATOR (STP/WWTP)

This position is a unique opportunity to be responsible for operation jobs, assisting operator in plant operation, isolation / de-isolation, wastewater plant operation, chemical preparation, etc.

Your main duties will be:

• Shall be responsible for operation jobs, assisting operator in plant operation, isolation / de-isolation, wastewater plant operation, chemical preparation, etc.,
• System surveillance of potable water, sewage, industrial water and landscaping network, carry out cleaning activities, coordinate and handle non routine and emergency works.
• Ensure the operational requirements are met with, compliance with safety and environmental standards, ensuring good housekeeping, maintain good safety standards in the maintenance section, conversant with permit to work.

Ideally, you should have secondary school certificate (Matriculation or equivalent).

You should have minimum 3 years of experience in operation of Utilities or similar system in oil & gas or petrochemical industries or major utilities set-up.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, an advance level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
