Infrastructure Cloud/OSS L2 Engineer

The L2 Infrastructure engineer will be part of the Telco Cloud and OSS Operations team, managing VFQA Telco Cloud platforms, OSS and reporting systems and related operations, maintaining a 24/7 superior network KPIs with high availability of 99.99%, achieving quality leadership in a very competitive market. Being a multi-vendor environment, he/she has to perform vendor management for incident management and SLA negotiations as per the Vodafone policies.

With us you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and 2nd level operational support of the Telco cloud platforms of Core network.

Expert knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, NFV, Orchestration in a Telcom setup
Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/IMS technologies.
Analyze daily and weekly health checks reports for infrastructure domain and proactively responding to degraded KPIs and alarms within the acceptable SLA limits
Responsible for maintaining E2E measurement data and network KPIs within agreed OLAs & SLAs, ensuring network reliability and availability with minimal MTTR through promoting strong incident and proactive problem management practices
Provide on-site level 2 operations and maintenance support when needed, Incident and Problem management, applying proper corrective actions to restore the service
Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) through Major Incident Reviews (MIR) with the Vendors and update KEDB documentations
Participate in carrying out Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Major Incident Reviews (MIR)
Approve new VNF on boarding and review design documents /plans
Execute and validate SW and HW bug fixes, release upgrades and expansions
Responsible for Network Audit, Operational performance, Capacity, Trend, Risk and Gap analysis
Own the OSS systems supporting E2E monitoring of the core domain
المهارات
Apply if you have..

Degree in Telecom/IT/Network Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing infrastructure and cloud computing, OSS platforms operation
Experience in Telco cloud transformation and operation
Experience in NFV on-boarding
Hands-on on Vmware & HP
VCP DCV Vmware certified
Preferably ITIL foundation certified with good understanding of ITIL Service Operation
Expert level in VMware SDDC (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, SRM, NSX, vCD, vROps, log insight), OSS systems (NetAct, OneFM)
Expert level in HPE infrastructure & Storage (HPE blade c7000, HPE 3PAR, HPE SAN switches, HPE Network switches)
Good knowledge of IP networking skills and high troubleshooting skills in complex architecture
