Our automotive client based in Dhofar is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join their dealership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Automotive Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
• 6 years’ experience in an automotive workshop
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Knowledgeable in manufactures inspection standards
• Written and verbal communication in English Mandatory / Arabic desirable
• Proficient in MS Office and Dealer Management System (DMS)

OVERALL:
• To ensure that the technicians do their job according to quality standards.
ROLE (BRIEF OVERVIEW):
• Contributes to the strategies to improve productivity in accordance to the growth plans
• Controls wastage of consumable materials
• Ensure jobs are fairly allocated to technicians and mechanics based on the skills matrix and that there are adequate staff to achieve workshop objectives
• Ensure maximum use of equipment to achieve the highest Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) productivity, efficiently and utilisation outputs
• Ensure proper write up and vehicle status update is recorded on the Dealer Management System (DMS)
• Loads the technician’s labour hours
• Monitors progress of jobs in the workshop and advises services of any delay or issues
• Work and maintain all operations within the ISO 9002 and HSE standards set by the company.
